Who we are

Nozzlebay is a trading name of Matthew Lewis, a sole trader based in South Wales. We place fragrance vending machines in venues such as gyms, barbershops, hotels and clubs. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Matthew Lewis trading as Nozzlebay is the data controller of the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our website, we collect your name, your venue name and venue type, your phone number, your email address and anything you choose to write in the message box. If you contact us by email, text or phone, we keep a record of that conversation. Our website is hosted by Shopify, which uses cookies and collects basic technical information such as your device, browser and pages visited, so the site works and stays secure.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, discuss placing a machine at your venue and, if we agree to work together, to set up and manage that arrangement, including revenue share payments. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and taking steps at your request before entering an agreement with you. We do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the services we use to run the business: Shopify, which hosts our website and receives form submissions, and our email provider. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

If we do not go on to work together, we delete your enquiry details within 24 months of our last contact. If we do work together, we keep the records we need for the agreement and for tax purposes for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to restrict its use. To make a request, email info@nozzlebay.com.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
